Many of my gifted students struggle with perfectionism and always finding the "right" answer. They can fear the unknown and not be willing to take risks. These journals will help them let go of the desire to always be "right" by encouraging them to "release all attachment to outcome." They don't have to be "right." Because creativity is not emphasized in schools, scholars need safe opportunities to learn how to step outside their comfort zones! Some gifted people are content staying within the lines constructed by society, often stifling their own creativity. My goal is for them to find themselves through creativity.

About my class
