Flexible seating options in our class will make a difference. Students will be able to move seating options around the class to make for a more conducive learning environment. The addition of flexible seating will also provide a students with choice and freedom to relax while learning.
I will teach small group guided reading lessons and students will gather with peers to conduct collaborative inquiry.
The size and scale of the materials with eliminate the physical constraint of being in a desk which can lead to a feeling of confinement. Flexible seating will not only provide students with comfort and collaboration. It will aid in their physical health. Students will have seating options that allow for increased oxygen flow to the brain because they will be able to move around with ease.
