Students sit in a classroom for roughly 8 hours a day with only a few breaks. The requested stools and balancing balls will not only provide my classroom with color, but they will also give my students a chance to move about my classroom as they feel they need to.
Sometimes students need to get away from the crowd for a minute to help them focus. Using these resources, students will be able to move away from the group as they need a small break. The stools will be set up at my back table and the balancing balls will be set up in my reading space in my classroom. Students who are feeling a little wiggly will be able to use those balancing balls to help them move while not distracting others.
