Help students engage in imaginative play! Most students come from bilingual households and have difficulty having conversations with each other. Center time is usually the students favorite time of day, especially in the kitchen area! Our district is limited with center time activities. We have a kitchen area and a writing area and this year Id love to incorporate this into the kitchen area and have different foods that the students can bring from their homes to increase conversations and experiences. We also would like to add blocks as a center, we currently have Lincoln logs and I hope to add a planning activity along with the building blocks.
