The stools will help my students during their guided reading time. The size and weight will also make it easy for my Kindergartners to maneuver around the classroom. We like to change things up a and like to read to partners and chairs are sometimes to hard to maneuver. The library furniture will make the students eager to want to be in the library. At this time it is hard for them to sit in our library, as we only have to chairs that can be used in that area. Reading is key to any student's life, especially to my students that need that support and as much exposure as possible. The laminating paper and card stock will help me create centers for my students. I teach my students Spanish all day and our resources are limited. I like to create activities for them myself and like to laminate them so they can last a while. I love to provide as many different activities as possible for each unit we teach, but it gets expensive. The writing journals are great for my students to see their progress from the beginning of the year to the end.
By donating to our project, you are allowing my students to create a life long experience that they will always cherish and use as they go through their educational life. Your contributions will help these students go beyond what is expected from them. I always love to think and say that a classroom should be a second home for students. I like to think my students feel safe and loved in my classroom. I try to provide as much love and nurturing as possible to my students. I want to be the person that can make a difference in their life.
