By funding this project, you are putting new books in kids' hands and giving them legos to build their ideas. We need a variety of books covering diversity, stem and kindness... three things that are important in my school's library. The books would be used in the library as read alouds, students will be able to check out to read and teachers will also have access to the books. The legos will be used as a tactile challenge during STEAM and creative time for students to present their ideas. Our library collection is old and very limited. The few legos we have are not enough for a class to build things and be creative. The books listed here and the legos would mean the students will have new information and challenges.
