I teach a remarkable group of 3rd through 6th grade students in a special education classroom, where many of my students come from low-income, minority backgrounds. My class is filled with diverse learners, including students on the autism spectrum, each with unique abilities and special needs. Despite the challenges they face, my students are eager to learn, bursting with curiosity, and full of potential. They bring joy to the classroom every day with their kindness, innocence, and positive attitudes. These happy and resilient children deserve every opportunity to succeed, and I am committed to creating an environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential.
