Hola, amigos! My name is Lauren Greenwell, and I am a first-year Special Education teacher in Indianapolis, Indiana at dual-language lower/upper grade school called Global Preparatory Academy! I am teaching both 2nd and 3rd graders who qualify for special education services-- this can look like many different things, such as literacy, math, and behavior support. As a first year teacher, there are several items that I will need to supply my resource room with in order to give my 2nd and 3rd graders the tools and resources they need to achieve success. My students are leaders-- both in and out of the classroom, and they deserve to have hands-on experiences that celebrate cultural diversity and academic success.
