I am constantly looking for ways to enhance the teaching and learning in my classroom. By having a set of four iPads in my classroom, I can use them for many different activities. Some of these activities include center time, small group instruction, incentives, or a choice for students who finish other work early. There are many apps that will help support the standards my first grade students are working on (both Literacy and Math).
Having iPads would give my students the opportunity to work with technology while supporting their individual academic needs.
This technology would help enhance student learning in my classroom and allow students to practice being 21st century learners. Being able to use iPads during the school day would be an exciting and interactive way for all of my students to learn.
