As a 3rd-year kindergarten teacher, I am realizing how inappropriate much of the mainstream curriculum is for our littlest learners, asking them to sit still and listen for 20+ minutes at a time. In order to combat this, I have spent my summer researching teacher researched, created, and tested curricula, which were designed to be developmentally appropriate for young learners.
While I have found these helpful resources that focus on movement, hands-on experiences, and critical-thinking skills, I now need help translating them from digital to hard copies. This includes printing, laminating, and storing lesson plans and manipulatives. Please consider donating to help my students learn in a developmentally appropriate, and fun, way!
