The materials I am requesting will be used daily during our response to intervention block to provide my students with an educational center to expand their literacy, while I pull small groups to work on individual needs and build a personal relationship with each student. The listening center will allow my students to be engaged in literature, tracking the words, and being independent in their learning. The books requested meet the standards for fiction and non-fiction titles that we will be learning throughout the year.
This will allow me to build on each student's individual needs in small groups, while ensuring that the other students are engaged in learning.
The materials are small in size, but have a large impact on my students' learning! These materials will help them become independent while allowing me the opportunity to focus on direct needs for all of my students from my lower students that need the extra support to my higher students who need to be challenged!
