We are a Title I school and have access to curriculum. However, our curriculum rarely allows space for the creativity and tinkering with STEM materials.
This STEM Bundle kit can provide the space to pursue interests and solve real world problems in a way that will encourage students interest in science and mathematics. I plan to use these materials to supplement our math and science curriculum in project-based learning so students have context for the deep concepts they are mastering. As students learn about chemistry, physics, and engineering, I plan to pair nonfiction texts to further support the pursuit of STEM careers.
