In PreK my students are introduced to literacy. With a variety of books in both languages (English and Spanish) they will build confidence in their abilities to learn how to read. When children are beginning the reading journey, they need to develop the necessary reading skills. I believe that by exposing and introducing these wonderful books in different areas: Read aloud, centers and small groups, will give them the necessary tools to be interested and keep their natural curiosity. I am confident that they will want to explore the world and love to learn and read. I believe this is a great opportunity for my students.

About my class
