How often do you sit for long periods of time and wish the seat was just a little more comfortable?
Students with special needs struggle to concentrate when they sit for long periods of time on uncomfortable seating. Many of my students tend to stand which then leads to fidgeting and loss of concentration. This can lead to increases in negative behaviors.
Bouncing and rocking gives my students just enough movement to help keep them working throughout the school day. It gives them an opportunity to use excess energy in a positive way that impacts their learning in the classroom.
