This rug will give my students a place they can call their own! They will learn routines and procedures to make them successful students! My students will be assigned a color on the carpet that they will report to each day. We will do calendar, weather, read stories, and much more from this rug. This will be the focal point of my classroom as I move from 2nd grade to kindergarten for the 2017-2018 school year. Remember your kindergarten class? What did your rug look like? Didn't you learn so much from this safe place? Let's keep the memories alive for these young scholars!
