I teach in a low income school where the majority of my students receive free or reduced lunch. Many of my students come from immigrant homes where Spanish is the primary language. Because of this, most of my students are behind by multiple grade levels and struggle with reading. It is very important for me to create a classroom environment where my students ENJOY reading despite their many challenges. I am working hard to create a classroom where ALL of my students can succeed and create a bright future ahead of them.
