These STEM box kits are packed with high-interest, science based concepts and hands-on materials that are perfect for kindergarten and first graders. Students will work with materials in order to investigate magnets, explore motion, and study buoyancy. They will complete challenges, attempt to find multiple solutions and communicate their findings with others! In addition to learning about magnetism, motion, and buoyancy, I will design social skill lessons to pair with these science concepts. Lessons include taking turns, communicating ideas, sharing materials, working with others, and compromise. By pairing academic content with social skills concepts, my students will have an opportunity to practice life-skills while they widen their knowledge base.
