I teach in a Title 1 school. It is a low income area. These children come to school no matter what grade they are in looking for safety, love, trust and to better themselves. Most of these kids have a hard time concentrating and sitting still from lack of sleep or concentration, or could have a medical diagnosis that causes them to be "fidgety". I have witnessed firsthand how much of a difference these cushions can make! It was amazing how the kids quit messing with their chairs, rocking side to side as well as sitting on their feet. I feel these cushions would improve the quality of concentration for students and give them the comfort they deserve.
