Students will learn that math is not just about numbers, and we deal with math daily; it's all around us, it's fun and it's always used all around us. It’s important for students to be engaged, to understand and be able to apply what they have learned to their lives... not just learn it on paper, and not know when or how to use it. Students will be able to take notes and have a safe place, such as their binders, to keep their work, data and notes. Students will be able to be better organized with a binder just for math, which throughout the year, requires a lot of note taking and data keeping. Students will enjoy learning and its rewards of having treats that they can enjoy after completing their work. They will better understand mathematical concepts and be more engaged in the process.

About my class
