Support Mrs. Schultze's classroom with a gift that fosters learning.
In my art classroom I like to allow opportunities that can help students express their feelings, emotions, creativity and really give them a chance to use their imaginations. Through my art classroom we also connect to student's daily lives, their families, community and other subject areas in school. This project can provide materials needed to explore and learn through their creativity.
Exploring many art forms is important for a students motor skills and imagination and can be therapeutic for students who have social and emotional needs. Art projects that are open-ended provide a chance for students to not have to come to a right or wrong conclusion, and allow for more freedom to choose and create the way they want to. This project will allow for an art room with no budget to spend to be stocked with art supplies that can be used by the 750 students in our school. Many of the items can provide new experiences with different art forms such as sculpture, painting, and jewelry making.
