This project will allow my 25 students to move around! Incorporating flexible seating allows for a sensory rich environment that will allow students who need to move around to be successful to do so. Research has shown that movement throughout the day increases blood flow and engagement. It also fights the detriments of sedentary ways by sitting in a desk all day. Our students have different needs, this change in environment will meet the needs of all learners. Students can choose where to sit throughout the day that will allow them to be successful learners in a 21st century classroom. Thank you for your consideration in making 25 six year-olds happy and successful!

About my class
