We are requesting a rug for our classroom to use during story time, morning meeting, and whole group lessons. My students need a cozy carpet to invite them to learn. We spend a great part of our day on the floor and my students would love to have a comfy space of their own while they take on the leaning challenges of first grade.
Having this classroom rug will allow my students to stay focused on their instead of worrying about where and what they are sitting on. This colorful carpet will help students understand their personal space boundaries while sitting on the carpet. Minimizing distractions and increasing their focus is optimal for helping first graders learn and grow.
