Welcome to Lion Country...let me tell you about my lion cubs.
We are a K-6 public school with about 500 students. We are a Title 1 school in a high poverty area. All of our students receive free breakfast and lunch daily.
We have a diverse population and typically half of my students come in speaking little to no English. As the youngest learners many of my students enter kindergarten with no prior exposure to school or early learning.
We have created a community within our school where all students and families feel welcomed and respected.
My students are proud of not only their own learning, but of their school.
