We use dry erase markers and mini white boards to check for understanding. This is a practical tool that is turning out to be more useful than a calculator. These tools level the learning playing field and allows all student to learn at there own pace with very specific tools to help students learn in there own way.
By having these supplies the students are able to work on math problems and identify there areas that supports are needed, this in turn allows for faster growth in math calculations. These tools help bridge the gaps over the obstacles of learning that each student faces.
