My project supports the basic principle of reading. Reading standards in 2nd Grade are crucial to students' academic success. Students will be excited to read more with a great big bean bag chair as an incentive! Positive reinforcement helps children develop a sense of achievement.
TIME For KIDS is an awesome resource that provides students with real world information in a fun and inviting way. Students are always fascinated by new topics from far away places. They enjoy collaborating with each other about subjects they love, including science and nature. The class loves when I tell them we are reading TIME magazine!
