Scholastic magazines have been used as a great visual representation for my students to learn about real life events, and different facts about animals and things happening in the world.
We had Scholastic last year and my students absolutely loved it. I was able to display the magazine on the Smart Board and the students were able to interact with the magazine as well as take them home.
Sensory toys and objects are a necessity in my classroom.
These will help them focus during lessons, and calm down during transitions and rough times in our classroom. Having these items for my students will help them grow on an academic level as well as help soothe them and calm them on a sensory level to be able to learn more each day.
