I lead a volunteer robotics club in the Clark County School District. It is a free weekly after school activity for students that provides an important supplement to their STEAM education. However, our district is in the middle of a massive budgetary shortfall. Finances are tight everywhere.
We have kids, teachers, and enthusiasm - we just don't have enough robots. Currently, our robotics club is in dire need of extra resources with a student to robot ratio of 10 to 1. Your generous gift of robots and a tablet will give low-income students in our Title I school hands-on experience with technology that will equip them as leaders in the technology-dominated industries of both today and the future.
