My goal as a third grade English Language Arts teacher is to instill a lifelong love for reading. Your donation to my classroom would be used to purchase a yearly Time magazine subscription and a yearly subscription to SPIN magazine for each of my students. This would be a wonderful supplement to our classroom instruction. Both magazine would give my students exposure to a wide variety of text and interactive content. Having access to a variety of reading resources such as Social Studies topics, current events, non-fiction and fiction literary articles would inspire my students to read and discover new things about the world around us. It would also encourage independent reading and inspire the most reluctant readers. Both magazine subscriptions are standard based, which would be an additional resources to help advance my students reading skills, which in turn would correlate to better performance on the Florida State Assessment. The magazine subscription would be used in the classroom but also sent home to provide reading materials at my students homes. Please consider helping my classroom. My students and I would be very grateful. Thank you!
