I want to create a VIP Motivation Station. I want to encourage students to achieve and succeed in everyday life. This includes being respectful, doing good deeds, participating fully in activities, experiments, inquiries, and assignments. In doing so, I hope to reward them with this creative and desired VIP seating area.
The VIP station will be a special location in the classroom. Students will have the chance to be removed from their normal group when acceptable, and they will be excused to do their work in the VIP station with a partner of their choice. The rocking chairs I'm requesting will be used in this area. Using this as a reward system, students will strive to be the best they can be. I can only hope that students will not want to lose a turn in the station, and disciplinary issues will decrease.
