I teach at a Title 1 school where all are students are on free lunch program. My class is the "littles" of the schools as they are 3-4 year olds entering pre-k. I teach Dual language in a one way program meaning 100% of my kids are English language learners. The majority of students are immigrants with disadvantaged backgrounds. My classroom is almost always their first introduction to any kind of educational exposure. Regardless of the challenges we face as a class , we always have fun, learn and make the best of every day we share together. They are an amazing bunch of little people!
