A colored printer will be used often in my classroom. As a special education teacher, I print everything from IEPs and parent handouts to communication and picture cue cards. My students need picture cue cards and individualized task analyses that are in color to help them learn communication, academic, and functional skills. Each of my students will have personalized lesson plans, activities, and materials to help them reach their goals. Having a colored printer in the classroom will reduce time and money spent making copies using the school printer which, in turn, will increase time and resources spent directly with each student.
