My classroom is an Autism classroom. I teach with a combination of small and whole group instruction. My students benefit from structured, hands-on learning.
The chairs that I have in the classroom are unsafe for my students because they engage in repetitive movement, such as rocking and often tip out of their chairs and get injured. I am hoping to create a more student-friendly environment for my students by providing them with these requested new stack chairs.
We also need a Classroom Magnetic Letter Kit, Giant Classroom Timer, and Unlock It! Number Match kit. The math materials and magnetic letters will be used during small group instruction, and the timer will ensure that my classroom runs with the structure my students need.
