My students will use the carpet and easel area for both classroom community circles and whole group instruction.
Community circles are essential to build student-to-student and student-to-teacher relationships. This is where we share about our lives, our feelings and how to regulate them, and problem solve about concerns both in the classroom and outside the classroom.
It is also essential to have a learning space where students can focus on my instruction and practice concepts in math, reading, writing, science, social studies, and art.
Both a classroom carpet and teaching easel are essential to the learning and relationship building in my classroom. Thank you for your support and consideration!
