The materials requested will help us get our 2017-2018 school year off to a great start. There are materials that will keep our classroom organized, help us to create posters, and will allow us dive deeper into our science and social studies content.
Having the proper supplies at the beginning of the school year will set my new 5th graders up for a successful year.
We will use the folders to store and organize all of the awesome work we complete. Keeping our work will allow us to see the incredible academic growth we make. Chart paper and markers will allow me to to make bright process charts for all the exciting things we are learning. These charts will help students to remember important information. Students will also get to use the chart paper and markers to display their learning. Various read aloud books that correspond to our science and social studies units have been included. These books will add excitement to the topics we cover. Additional resources for developing "growth mindset" have also be included. I want my students to love coming to school and for our classroom to be a place that is ready for learning. These supplies will make this a reality.
