I teach in a low income, rural area. This is my 19th year teaching elementary school. I have been at the same school my entire career. I have chosen to stay there because I feel like I can make a safe, caring place for my students, some of which do not get that at home. I pride myself in making connections and building lasting relationships with my students. I see their potential and I strive to help them reach it. Every student can succeed in their own way, they just need an advocate fighting in their corner. I am so excited about the opportunity to provide new educational tools to help my students succeed!
