The students in my class will use the ChromeBooks to help them improve their reading skills. They will be able to get onto programs such as Fast Forward and Study Island. These programs help to increase fluency and comprehension. They will be able to have stories read to them. This will be especially helpful to our ELL students who will be able to access stories in English and the same stories in their native language with the use of the ChromeBooks. Students will also use the technology to help them increase their vocabulary. These ChromeBooks would open the door for many of our students in improving their reading and language skills.
