My students are part of the Dual Language Program, which helps them learn two languages at the same time (English and Spanish). They come to school ready to learn and do their very best! They are problem-solvers and collaborators who work in unity even when faced with challenges.
Although I have 16 students in my classroom, the reality is that there more. How is this possible? Well, I have a partner teacher who has her own classroom students. Our students switch classrooms during the day. While I teach content to one group in Spanish, she teaches in English to the other. Then, we switch groups and follow the process again. In the end, since we are teaching students from both classrooms, together we have a total of about 30. You might be asking, "Why is she telling me this?" Well, I want you to know that any materials kindly donated to my classroom will also be utilized by my other class and future students.
