This program is a supplementary intervention program that is proven to improve literacy achievement of struggling readers. It contains engaging leveled readers and fast-paced systematic lesson plans. This program contains materials to teach phonics, and letter/word work as well as comprehension skills that include talking, thinking and writing. It is a program that is systematic in teaching phonemic awareness, letters and phonics. Many of our students have trouble decoding words due to a lack of the foundational skills in phonics and phonemic awareness. This program will ensure a systematic approach to teaching those foundational skills. We have used this program and have seen really great results in our first grade students. We would like more kits so we can include more students in the use of the program.
