Reluctant readers are excited to read with Scholastic News! We can also use these during independent reading and the back page of the magazine has questions about the article so students have a purpose for reading. Setting a purpose for reading has been proven to help students retain and comprehend information.
My ESL students can even get access to Spanish versions to make sure they learn the content too!
