My students come from a variety of backgrounds. Many are low-income, live with grandparents, or live with busy, hard-working parents. They do not have many opportunities to perform experiments or use tools to problem-solve. These bright minds are technology driven and function when they are active and involved in their learning. When I say it is Science or Math time, they light up with excitement. That excitement fades as my limited materials dwindle.
