I am thrilled to say my students love to read! Every teacher's dream! I want to capitalize on that love and, with a single, powerful resource, take them on a journey that can span the globe. Storyworks magazine by Scholastic is a tool I can use to reach all my students. The stories and articles contained in each issue are designed with the idea that every curious students deserves the opportunity to explore that curiosity with rich, varied texts that strive to spark the imagination of a young mind. Storyworks recognizes that no two students learn on the same way, so they provide a wide variety of differentiation tools to help reach all types of learners. There are leveled articles, audio versions, vocabulary slideshows and videos, which provide the necessary background knowledge to help students to grasp the article content in a more meaningful way. The magazine and the online resources that are also part of the subscription, offer a sense of wonder, whether it's in nonfiction, fiction, drama, poetry, as well as amazing teacher support
