This will be my first year in an Autistic Support classroom. We are located in a low-income school where I need to buy most of my own supplies.
I have 9 kindergarten students diagnosed with Autism. They are smart, clever, and loving. They need structure, organization, and TLC to express their true potential.
My students require specialized and individualized lessons. They learn with hands-on manipulatives and visuals. They will be actively moving around the classroom in small group Instruction and individual instruction. In this type of educational setting they can excel! Before they could do this, we need some basic classroom supplies to keep our classroom organized.
