Working in a Title 1 school, there is unfortunately not enough money in the school's budget, nor the parents wallets, to purchase items that children need on a daily basis. Students having access to their own white boards would greatly push them to become more enthusiastic about learning math and phonics, while using new innovative tools to do so. This includes lap desks for my floor workers, exercise balls for my bouncy workers, and clipboards to go around.
I can't wait to see how enthusiastic and engaged my students will be with all of the new classroom materials. With your help, these students will not have to worry about not having the needed supplies to get through the school day.
