I'm new to the kindergarten classroom involving centers, stations, and activities! I'm afraid I don't have enough items for them to sit comfortably in the reading center, math & literacy games for them to work on on their own, and enough toys for dramatic play! With this project students will be able to sit back, relax, and enjoy reading on their comfy pillows and bean bags. My students will use write and wipe whiteboards which will be great tools for them to use in the writing center and even good for me to use during an informal group assessment. The counting cans & magnetic alphabet would be beneficial for students as they master learning their numbers and letters in a more hands on learning style. Also, I would love to include blocks during center time as they explore building new things, working together, and understanding trial and error.
I'm hoping with this donation I will truly be able to keep my students engaged in learning and wanting to try new things! I want to supply them with these materials that will help them feel and be successful! Once they accomplish a task, they will be ready for a new one and the more I can provide for them the better!
