Students can be distracted in class because of being hungry. Giving students a snack between meals will help them focus during instruction. I also have students who come to school without eating breakfast. When they are hungry their attention is not on school but on knowing what time will lunch be. With a satisfied tummy, they can concentrate, focus and participate in the lessons without feeling hungry. Eating a snack will give them energy and will feel less tired. The snacks will surely bring a smile to my student's faces.
