The purpose of my project is to be able to create organized word work stations that are hands on for students. For instance, my students will be able to build words using playdoh. They can spell out their sight words using alphabet magnets on cookie sheets, stamp their words using alphabet stamps, and letter beads on bracelets. The work stations will all be organized in a color coded cart to ensure they are put back organized. In addition, these items for our word work stations will help them practice sight words, spell new words, build words, and most importantly become better readers. My goal this year is to incorporate these fun word work stations in the class to make students engaged in their learning. Help me fund our goal!
