Having a rug and bean bag chairs, will help make learning communication skills more fun and comfortable for my younger autistic students that have many sensory needs.
Sensory input provided by bean bag chairs and rugs helps get my students ready to learn new vocabulary, correct production of phonemes, and the ability to express their wants and needs using grammatically correct sentences.
When a students sensory needs are met, they are able to attend to the task at hand, which helps them improve their receptive and expressive language skills.
Thank you in advance for considering to donate to my project!
