My students are from one of the most ethnically diverse schools in Sacramento. They come from a variety of economic backgrounds with over 90% of the students receiving free or reduced lunch. They speak a multitude of languages including English, Spanish, Hmong, Vietnamese, Mien, and Cantonese. My class is full of unique personalities. They are funny, creative, dramatic, and they are very supportive of each other. They are all at different academic levels, and they enjoy exploring reading and writing together.
