For an AED, the immediate impact of up to date equipment will be the comfort of knowing the school is equipped with a life saving device. This will bring peace to some students, staff, families and volunteers with heart conditions, knowing their school is prepped and ready for such an event. With having updated equipment, I will be able to encourage more staff to become AED/CPR certified. This will prepare more staff in the event of an emergency, also bringing a sense of ease that we have people prepared for this type of emergency.Even though the AED's true impact wouldn't be shown until an emergency, we prepare for an emergency because cardiac arrest can happen anytime, anyday and to anyone!

About my class
