My students need to be constantly moving in order to focus and feel calm. Students with autism need a variety of sensory input throughout the day. My students learn and play by engaging in kinesthetic activities. They love to take part in activities such as write the room and manipulating the SMART board. However, seat work is difficult for them. The # 1 goal is slowly integrate my students back into a general education classroom. Seat work is an imperative part of a school day. Wobble chairs will give my students with autism the sensory input they need to focus and reduce anxiety and stress. Thank you so much for your donation and support! We couldn’t do it without you.
